Metall
Metals represent a major area of Tapio Wirkkala's oeuvre. He began his work in this area by designing ornamental objects of silver, and went on to design utility silver products made in series. He worked with bronze and pewter objects, jewellery and medals.
Tapio Wirkkala designed over 600 objects for the Kultakeskus company in Finland.
